From Game of Thrones to Modern Family
Screen Junkies may be up for a 2016 Emmy in the Outstanding Short Form Variety Series category, but that’s not stopping them from poking fun at the year’s other nominees.
The YouTube channel released an Honest Trailer Tuesday aimed at the 14 shows nominated for an award in the Outstanding Drama and Outstanding Comedy categories, including the newly nicknamed “Downers and Dragons” (Game of Thrones), “Better Not Call Him Saul Because We’re Two Seasons in and His Name Is Still Jimmy” (Better Call Saul) and “I’m Not With Her” (Veep).
“In a world where every network spends millions to get the attention of Emmy voters, the only way we knew how to build hype for our own nomination was to make fun of the TV shows the voters work on,” the voiceover begins.
