Tel Allison is the first person in the world to surf near the volcano spewed lava. She was photographed surfing near the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii. Underwater photographer James Perrin made wonderful pictures and shot video of the amazing experience of this adventurous woman..
It may sound fantastic, but Alison does not encourage people to try this, since the water is full of deadly boiling gases from the volcano and ocean conditions are too difficult. Allison says that even as a child she could feel the relation to the volcano and the nature and her dream has become a reality.
Allison lives in Hawaii with her father, who is a photographer for National Geographic.
